The Senate and management of Scott Christian University wishes to inform all second, third and fourth year students of Scott Christian University that the university will re-open on thursday, 20th September 2018 at 8am.
Our Bachelor of Arts in Education programme is tailor made to equip high school teachers with competence in teaching skills. A mean grade of C+ in KCSE and C+ in two teaching subjects or a diploma or certificate in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution is the requirements for admission to this programme. The programme follows the demands and standards laid down by the Teacher Service Commission (TSC), and is regulated by the Commission of University Education (CUE). In addition to the teaching and education common courses, the programme incorporates the University common courses, which include spiritual formation, progress of redemption and Christian ethics for the work place. At SCU we endeavor to produce well-disciplined and godly, professional teachers, who will not only impart knowledge, but also provide mentorship for the high school students (teenagers) in our society.
